Manoj George is a professional instrumentalist based out of Kerela. Armed with a bow and the fiddle, Manoj has made a mark for himself in the Indian music arena as a composer, performing violinist, and a collaborator. He has earned his Licentiate (LTCL) in violin from the Trinity College of Music, London. Recently, Manoj has had the honour of being the first and the only Indian violinist to be the brand ambassador for Roland Corporation, Japan, and Cantini electric violins, Italy. Highlights of Manoj's performances and concerts include sharing the stage with renowned violin maestro, Dr L Subrahmaniam, at the Miss World 2001, opening act for Canadian rock star, Bryan Adams, and representing India at the World Military Games, the next biggest world games after the Olympics. Manoj has performed widely in India and across the world in US, Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, Gulf countries, China, and Colombo. He has performed with various groups and acclaimed musicians like Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Trilok Gurtu, Lucky Ali, and Shivamani. Manoj has also rendered his talent as a music composer for Malayalam and Kannada films, documentary films, corporate movies, and advertisements. He composed the background music for a Malayalam film, Kharaaksharangal, which won the National award for the best children’s movie in 2001.
