Manjari is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai.
Her first break occurred at the age of 13, when Dr KJ Yesudas, her mentor, invited her to record her debut album. Manjari recorded two songs – a solo and a duet with Yesudas.
Manjari was introduced to classical music by Ustad Khalid Anwar Jaan from the Kirana gharana. After three years, she performed her first Hindustani classical show in Muscat.
In 2004, Manjari returned to India and continued to learn music under Perumbavoor G Raveendranath and Dr Omanakutty in the later stage.
Manjari then sang for film music industry, in the movie, Achuvinte Amma, for two songs – Swasathin Thalam and Tamarakuruvikku. She has sung more than 200 film songs in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
