Manish Sisodia is an Indian politician and former journalist, who is known for being one of the founders of the political party AAP (Aam Aadmi Party). He was elected as a member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly in 2015. Since 2015, he had been serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi; however, following his arrest in the Delhi liquor policy scam, he resigned from the position on 28 February 2023.He belongs to Shahpur Fagauta village in Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh; however, he completed his higher education in New Delhi. He was also arrested for his participation in the protests.
