Biography

Manefus is an alternative four-piece rock act that has been active for seven years, playing all over the country and winning numerous prestigious rock competitions. He has shared the stage with many prolific artists such as Motherjane, Aurorajane (Australian band), Agnee, Ravi Iyer (of Vayu and Paravayu). They have an EP called 'Realize' to their credit, which released in the year 2009. It featured three of their original compositions and sold out within a month of its release. The band consists of members influenced by a number of genres, ranging from progressive, hard rock, thrash, grunge, classic rock, reggae, and indie. All members have won titles on a national level – namely the best drummer, best bassist, best guitarist and best vocalist with two of their songs winning best original compositions.
