Biography

Manasi Scott is a professional DJ based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai who rocked Vegas with her new musical featuring the music and history of Indian film music. It was scripted and performed along with her support team at the Venetian, with outfits designed by Neeta Lulla, Gavin Miguel, and Jean Paul Gaultier. Manasi's film, Acid Factory, was released in 2009 where she composed, sung, and performed the song, Khatti Meethi. The video was shot by Sanjay Gupta and voted as the #2 video of 2009 by MSN users. Manasi made her acting debut in Abbas Tyrewala's film, Jhootha Hi Sahi, as the second lead opposite John Abraham. She has also composed and sung ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ for Rohit and Manasi Joshi-Roy’s film, Love Story. Manasi is fluent in Hindi, English, and Punjabi. Recently, she had the opportunity to sing a Tamil song for Yuvan Shankar Raja. She has also hosted TV shows like Glamorous (Zoom), Perfect 10 (Sony Pix), E Buzz (AXN), the IIFAA Awards for three years, The Teacher's Achievement Awards, many corporate launches for Audi, Volkswagen, Aircel, FICCI Frames, and the Wisden Cricket Awards. She has performed LIVE at many IPL matches She has also sung the title track ‘I am She’ for Salim-Suleiman during the Ms Universe Pageant and is the new brand ambassador for Gitanjali. She has also modeled for brands like Sunsilk and Reebok. She is the only Indian singer to have graced the covers of The Week and Femina. Currently, she has three albums to her credit and over 1800 LIVE shows across the world. Her performances are designed to suit any occasion, right from launches, concerts, weddings, and sangeets to regional shows of any genre.
