Born and brought up in Guwahati, Assam, he was introduced to music at an early age by his parents. He took some time to figure out what to play, fiddling around different instruments. By the age of 15, he started playing the bass guitar. He started playing in the local stages mostly at festivals like Bihu with artists like Zubin Garg, Santa Uzir, Papon Angarag, Deepak Sharma, Mayuk Hazarika, JP Das, and many more. He is currently based out of Mumbai, mostly playing for artists like: Asha ?Bhosle Hari Haran Adnan Sami Pritam Chakraborty He recorded around a hundred regional albums for these artists. In the meantime, he joined a few bands like Crystal Ann, Holocaust, Warklung, Chakra, Earthlinks, NPB, Band of Brothers, etc.
