After an eight-year stint in the corporate world, Manas went through a major conflict between his logical and creative sides, and it resulted in the pursuit of his passion for visual storytelling – the art of telling detailed stories with emotions, by using pictures only, and without uttering a word. Before starting to shoot professionally, he spent over five years as an amateur and then as a semi-professional, learning the craft and evolving as an artist, as a professional, and as a person. It’s been an interesting journey where he has tried different styles, forms, techniques and subjects, and eventually figured out his calling. He loves working with people – capturing characters, expressions, emotions and decisive moments. That’s what led to the decision of getting into candid wedding photography. For his creative growth and evolution, he occasionally takes time off from work – to travel, experience and photograph new places and cultures.
