Malladi Brothers are a professional singing duo based out of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. Sreeram Prasad and Ravikumar were born to a family of musicians where the tradition was accrued through their grandfather Late Malladi Srirama Murthy and their father, Malladi Suri Babu, a great Harikatha exponent of his time in Andhra Pradesh. Both received their training in music from their father who himself was a disciple of the great Late Voleti Venkateswarulu. Sangeetha Kalanidhi Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, upon realising the potential of Malladi Brothers, took them under his guidance to represent this rich form of music. Malladi brothers possess a vast repertoire of Carnatic compositions and maintain a lively and powerful voice. They have travelled extensively all over India and abroad promoting and conserving the rich traditional music they represent. The Malladi Brothers have numerous audio publications to their credit. Both excel in performing Thyagaraja kritis.
