Biography

Madras Tunes is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The four-piece band was formed when the members met for the first time and ended up singing and playing the guitar. Ever since they joined hands, the group has brought smiles on many faces. The band members are all trained professionally and have been in the Indian music scene for quite some time Their sound can be described as a mix of symphony, jazz, Indian classical, pop, Indian fusion, and world fusion. The Madras Tunes are known for delivering the best of their music genres. They have performed at cafes and are known very well for their original compositions. Some of their inspirations are John Williams, AR Rahman, The Corrs, James Horner, Yanni, Fuzon, Ilaiyaraaja, Ennio Morricone, MS Subulakshmi, Shafqat Amanth Ali, Kenny G, and the Colonial Cousins.
