M-Sonic is a four-piece LIVE band based out of the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata. Back in 1999, 16-year-old Mainak formed a band called 'Harmony' with his elder brother, Kaushik, the drummer, Tutan, a skilful vocalist and Thengtom on the bass guitar. They started their musical journey with jam sessions and practised hard to achieve perfection. Later, they started performing at small venues and clubs. At the same time, they started composing originals in Hindi and Bangla languages. Due to some complications and differences amongst the members, the lineup was changed, and new members joined in. Then, they decided to give the band a new name and a new musical dimension, and M-Sonic was born. The era of M-sonic's music started, and people simply loved the band! And then, India’s Got Talent on Colours channel happened and, as a three-piece band, M-Sonic succeeded in creating a lasting impression on every Indian music lovers’ mind. They ended up as finalists of the show playing Sufi/rock. After the show, they played in almost every big city in the country. For M-Sonic, success meant creating a tune which directly touched the chords of its listeners.
