Lehmber Hussainpuri is a professional singer based out of the capital of Haryana and Punjab, Chandigarh. As a part of BBC Asian Network’s Bhangra Britain (2014) to find the greatest Bhangra anthem, Hussainpuri’s classic, Das Ja, was selected as the third best UK Bhangra song of all time. A panel of experts shortlisted 50 songs from 1970 onwards, celebrating forty years of British Bhangra sounds. After the 2014 chartbuster, Make It Clap, with Jags Klimax, Hussainpuri released a follow-up to one of the greatest UK bhangra tracks of all time, Das Ja. After releasing the original 12 years ago, Lehmber re-released the song under the name, Das Ja 2. Once again, this song had Lehmber at the helm. This time, the song was produced by Roadshow DJ, DNA. In 2015, Hussainpuri returned to the UK scene with his new, dance-floor themed single, Bhangra Pauna, produced by Bally Gill. This single was his first release on his new label, E3UK Records. Born to a middle-class family, he learnt singing from his elder brother and his teacher, RP Rana. Lehmber Hussainpuri struggled for 20 years to record his first religious album. His first song, Kehre Pind Tu Ni, rocketed him to stardom.
