Lal and the People is a LIVE band based out of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The band was formed in 2014 when songwriter, Rohit Lal, was influenced by hard hitting blues, RnB, and funk. The backing band changes frequently, as per the needs. The band was selected for the Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds Edition, 2014 in the blues category and did two shows alongside Soulmate. The music can be best described as a mix of genres like blues, RnB, soul, and funk. Some of the band’s influences are Albert King, Gary Moore, Albert Collins, T- Bone Walker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Soulmate, and Eric Johnson.
