She is the artistic director and founder of the Shree School of Dance in Lexington, Kentucky. Lakshmi is passionate about sharing her love for dance and founded Shree School of Dance to provide Bharatanatyam education in Kentucky. Her dance workshops are much sought after by Bharatanatyam dancers and dancers of other genre. Lakshmi started her training in Bharatanatyam under Smt Sujatha Ramalingham.
