Biography

Konkona Sen Sharma, born on 3rd December 1979 is a critically acclaimed Bollywood actress, writer, and director. Konkona made her debut as a child artist in the film Indira (1983). She made her adult debut with Bengali film Ek Je Aacchhe Kanya in 2000. In 2002, she received the National Film Award for Best Actress for her work in Mr. and Mrs. Iyer which was directed by her mother. Since then she has acted in many Bollywood films such as Page 3, Omkara and Life in a… Metro. Konkona has also won many awards in her career for her work in Indian Cinema. She has won many Filmfare and IIFA awards for her films over the years. She is one of the multi-talented artists in Bollywood.
