My Compelling Story

Knight Shades is a LIVE band that plays music for enthusiastic crowds in New Delhi. This talented group performs at clubs gigs, restaurants, private events, corporate events, wedding and private parties. Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and others have influenced the music that has been produced by this band. Their music is fast paced, has up tempo rhythm and uses influences of blues and modern rock and roll. Band Members:   Vipluv Avasthi – Vocalist and Guitarist Tikesh Yadav– Guitarist Sagar Hirani – Drummer and Backing vocalist Shubham Khanduri – Bassist, Harmonica and Backing vocalist   As of April 2017, the band has won 60 major competitions (1st Position-47, 2nd Position-9, 3rd Position-4), semi- professional and professional included. The band understands what the people want to hear, and that is what we deliver.  It's not about how complicated the music is, but how enjoyable and exciting it is.  Fast paced, up tempo rhythm and blues played in a modern rock and roll style coupled with unlimited energy, spirited stage presence and an appreciable crowd interaction is what sums up the band Knight Shades. We have Vipluv Avasthi on the vocals and rhythm guitar. Shubham Khanduri plays bass, sings backing vocals and plays the harmonica. Sagar Hirani plays drums and sings backing vocals. Tikesh Yadav is the guy with the magical finger; he's the lead guitarist. The band was formed in 2008. As of May 2016, the band has won over 35 major competitions (31 of those being in the year 2015-16)  Knight Shades is also available for clubs gigs, restaurants, private events, corporate events, wedding and private parties.
