My Compelling Story
KIPA Dance Academy, the brainchild of a sibling duo – Madhav and Kanhai, is a dance and well-being academy. They believe that dance is the foundation for all happiness in life. From dance as a passionate hobby to the possibility of a career, to dance as fitness and mental therapy, KIPA believes that for a lot of questions and doubts, dance is the answer. The academy was founded in early 2008, and believes in ‘Live Life, Dance Size’! Kanhai is trained in jazz for more than five years from Shiamak Davar’s Institute for the Performing Arts (SDIPA) and Danceworx. He specializes in hip-hop and salsa. He has performed in Australia with SDIPA for the Commonwealth Games 2006, Melbourne. He also won the NIFT Annual Dance Competition, Hindustan Times Annual Dance Competition, etc. Madhav is well-versed with all forms of dance like jazz, funk, hip-hop, salsa, and merengue. He is also trained in tap by foreign choreographers, and in yoga and meditation as well. Kanhai is also an experienced dance trainer. He was previously working with Tyroo Media Pvt. Ltd.
