Keechad is a LIVE band duo based out of the capital city of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. It is a fusion/rock/Sufi duo of Ashish Choudhary on lead vocals, and Vivek Dhyani on lead guitar and backing vocals. Ashish is a final-year B. Tech. student. He hates the jobs his seniors are doing and therefore, had decided early on to make his career in music. Vivek Dhyani has been playing the guitar since 2009. He holds a master's degree in journalism and, in his own words – "after licking shit in the newspaper industry for more than a year," he returned to his original love – guitar and music. The band is mostly influenced by Sufi and classical legends like Creed, Joe Satriani, RHCP, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and Kailash Kher.
