Kartar Cheema is a professional model/actor based out of Chandigarh, India. Charismatic, elegant, graceful and glamorous are the words that personify the tall, dark, and handsome Kartar Cheema. Though his intense looks can be misleading sometimes, but he truly is a gem of a person with a tender heart and warm aura. He believes in setting new trends rather than following others. When it comes to professionalism, hard work and dedication are the key mantras of his success and he believes that when your passion becomes your profession the effort comes automatically. His dedication towards his work, finally took a fruitful shape when he made a name for himself in the Punjabi film industry and kept gaining recognition with every role that he played on the silver screen. His genuineness, reliability and sincerity are the qualities which have helped him earn the name and fame, he has accomplished in the industry. Because of his super friendly and magnetic persona he is known as 'Yaaran Da Yaar” in Pollywood. Starting his journey with modeling, Kartar, the man with a daring personality and dashing looks gradually made a name in the glamorous world of fashion which led to his acting debut with a music video in 2005. In almost a decade, Kartar Cheema has dappered 150 Punjabi music videos with his exuberant presence. Moving further towards the road of stardom, he acted in several movies such as 'Channa Sachi Muchi’, ‘Kabaddi-Ik Mohabbat’, ‘Mitti’ and with the release of Punjabi blockbuster 'Yaar Anmulle' and the Bollywood hit 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya'. His recent appearance in the movie ‘Sikander’ opposite Gul Panag has earned him appreciation from critics and fans alike for his portrayal of the lead protagonist 'Sikander'. His remuneration for the work came automatically when he earned awards like best Punjabi Male Model Award 2011 and the Best Performance in a Negative Role, PIFAA in 2012.
