John Anthony aka kARNATRiix is a blues/folk/funk/jazz/rock/trance LIVE band based out of the capital city of Goa, Panaji. The band experiments with different types of sounds, resulting in a soul-soothing experience. One can also feel the strong taste of classical music harmonized with Carnatic kritis of Saint Thyagaraja. The band also renders mild hints of electronica and acoustics. The music is clear and direct, offering Indian classical music in a new-age package. John Anthony, the founder of kARNATRiix, plays the guitar and today he has put together a band of young and creative minds. John has traveled extensively to Russia, Germany, China, Sri Lanka, UAE, and Maldives. One of his biggest performances was the 'No More Bhopal' LIVE concert, where an audience of 5000 people was present. The music video was aired on Channel V. Another project close to John’s heart is the 'Share the Love' concert in Sri Lanka, which was organized in aid of the children who suffered the impact of war. John was personally invited by the Sri Lankan Government for the performance.
