Kamal Khan is a renowned singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He was born in Reethkherhi village, near Patiala, Punjab, to Sarabjit Kaur and Jaswant Singh. He started learning music at the age of five, from his uncle Shauqat Ali Dewana, who became his mentor in music. He later left his studies and started taking part in singing competitions and musical shows. He appeared in SaReGaMaPa in 2010, and rose to fame from there. There, Kamal learned under Vishal-Shekhar music directors. He won the show and Vishal-Shekhar became his real-life mentors. They gave him his first playback song – Wallah Re Wallah in the movie Tees Maar Khan (2010). Later, he also got a chance to sing 'Ishk Sufiana' for 'The Dirty Picture' in 2012, which turned out to be a superhit. In the year 2013, Kamal Khan sang the song 'Jhooth Bolliya' from the movie 'Jolly LLB'.
