My Compelling Story
Kalari - Strike a Chord is a four-piece LIVE band based out of Bangalore, Karnataka. The band creates a unique flavour which fuses blues with folk and Indian classical. Their music ranges from traditional folk music to upbeat pop music. Their peppy numbers can drag your feet to the dance floor, while others can gently pull you to the soul of music. They won Vodafone Battle of the Bands, 2015 and Unmaad Festival (Taal-Mel) organised by IIM Bangalore. The band has also given enthralling performances at Alive India In Concert (2015) with Usha Uthup, Zubeen Garg and other prominent artists of the music fraternity. Passion for music and the love and support of their fans keep them going, and they hope it will take them even further.
