Jonqui is a professional percussionist based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He got nominated for the Live Quotient Award 2015 in the nomination of 'Instrumental acts' by Events FAQ. He was born in Assam and has performed worldwide: Basel World, Switzerland Dusseldorf Festival, Germany Singapore Art Festival World Social Forum, Kenya Shalom Peace Festival, New Delhi Lucknow Mahotsav Qutub Festival, New Delhi Kala Ghoda Festival, Mumbai ...and many more. Jonqui was with Kailash Kher's band, Kailasa, for three years.
