John Varkey and the Slowpedalars is a brilliant five-piece band based out of Kerala. They are amazing at playing fusion/folk rock which are fused with contemporary rock and blues style to create a unique fusion sound. John started his career as a guitarist. Brought out three albums under the label of BMG CRECENDO which was innovative and well accepted by the new generation and which further led to the formation of band, AVIAL. He later discontinued from AVIAL and independently directed music for several Indian big time feature films with prominent productions and directors. Band Members include: John P Varkey (Guitars, Vocals) Rose Johny (Vocals, Guitars) Rajesh Dass (Bass, Acoustic Guitars) Jophy (Drums) Edwin Johnson (Percussion, Midi)
