He worked as a banker for eight years, but then realised his passion towards acting and moved to Mumbai.He left his job in 2009. He then joined John Berrys acting classes and started doing modelling.He has worked in over 100 commercials as well as no-commercial ad campaigns for Raymonds, Lifestyle, Smirnoff, LOral Matrix, etc.Jitin Gulati has also worked in a few short films among which the most controversial is with name Sisak. The film is Indias first LGBTQ silent movie. In this movie, Jitin has portrayed the character of a gay. About the role, he says that this is not a gay love story, but another love story. The film has already won many awards and nominations at international level.He also started teaching banking and finance in a renowned Business School in Mumbai.Jitin Gulati is a trained Jazz dancer.
