Jhanu is a Tamil rock band founded in August 2011. Their combination of music has resulted in their numerous LIVE performances in South India over the past two years. Originally formed as a two-member band by brothers Jhanu Chanthar and Udhay Bharath for a walk-in competition, Jhanu has gone on to enthral crowds of over thousands and headlined several shows at major fests, along with leading acts such as Avial and Skrat. The band has released their first single and music video “Prachanai” in July, 2013. Band members: Jhanu Chanthar - Guitar/Composition Lawrence Ramu - Vocals/Lyricist Harkirat Singh Sangha - Bass Udhay Bharath - Drums and Percussion Support - Pradeep Techie and Kanthan - Tech Sreerag Raghavan - Creative Director
