My Compelling Story

Jehan's deep techno and tech ­house sets have ignited festivals, clubs, warehouses, and even churches in Amsterdam, London, Oslo, NYC, Austria, Turkey, Hungary, Nepal, Thailand, and all over India. His music journey started from the time when parties had just started in Goa. From his school days of clarinet and saxophone to the New York college days of DJing and jazz percussion; from the formation of his NYC-based DJ collective – Sound Species to his formidable psytrance avatar a few years later, he came up with Janus. Jehan Tech moved further and became the head of music programming at the legendary blueFROG Company in Mumbai, when it opened in 2007, till 2015. Today, he has formed his own company called Ra Music and works with various venues, festivals, and artists worldwide. In the year 2007, he started his exploration of house and techno. Then after three years, in 2010, he launched Studio Ra which is a professional music production & recording studio for LIVE and electronic music. He was also the first Indian DJ to host an official event at Amsterdam Dance Event, in 2011, and another in 2012. Jehan’s seven years of exploration in the deep ­tech, tech house, techno space, and his life­long bond with music – has given rise to this project.
