Jazba is a project founded by Ashish Chhabra. He is the lead vocalist of Jazba, and currently learning music under the tutelage of Ustad Aftab Ahmed Khan Sahab of Rampur Gharana. He has also been learning music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi, for the last four years. Ashish has been performing on stage for the last seven years; he also won the title of ‘Voice of Delhi’. He is currently focusing on his self compositions that will be released probably in the coming months. His style of music ranges from Bollywood to classical and Sufi melodies. One of his original compositions has been featured in the CD launched by ‘Tata Indicom- Dil ki Awaaz’, which got positive reviews from the masses. Ashish has performed LIVE with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan at the premiere of the Hindi movie Ghajini. He has also shared the stage with the famous Bombay Rockers, and music director Late Aadesh Srivastava. Jazba has also done shows with singers Shaan and Vasundhra Daas. He was one of the contestants of the reality show 'Idea Rocks India' that aired on Colors TV in 2009. Ashish's music got aired on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, while he has also recorded jingles for 93.5 Red FM and other major radio stations. He has also performed at corporate events for Spice Malls and Loop Telecom.
