Biography

Invigorate Seed is a LIVE band based out of Jorhat, Assam. The progressive metal band started as a bedroom project by Bily in 2012. He used to record samples for fun. After some time, he asked Reeshav to help on the drums and the bass from Mondip. The trio later released a song called Atshitshi on YouTube, and the response was above expectations. The lineup was completed by Ankit Shyam on rhythm guitar and Manas Hazarika on vocals, previously with Violet Violence, following which, the band went to record their first official single as a complete band. After a long wait, their debut single 'Vanity' was released via RSJ Online after the band had done a single release show in DMD, Guwahati where death metal pioneers of Assam, Agnostic, headlined the show named 'Deatholic'. The band has also emerged as the winners of Rantix, an open-genre music competition at Dibrugarh with Reeshav bagging the coveted best drummer and Bily bagging the best lead guitarist titles respectively. Pallav Mahanta filled in for the rhythm sections. But Rantix also saw the departure of frontman, Manas Hazarika, who was replaced by Bezalel Khlem Xahu and the departure of former rhythm guitarist, Ankit Shyam, due to his regular absence at most of the shows. The band is currently recording their debut EP with a release scheduled for May 2014.
