Instinct is a LIVE classic jazz/blues trio based out of the capital of Meghalaya, Shillong. The band was formed in 2012. They play an eclectic mix of music rooted in jazz, funk and folk styles from across the world. Their music is also highly improvisatory in nature, which allows for experimentation and collaboration with graphic artists, filmmakers, and performing artists across various disciplines. The members of Instinct are rooted in diverse backgrounds, and they aspire to create an organic connection between their myriad experiences and their audience, in the hope that all their listeners will relate to and take part in the compelling journey that their love for music has brought them on.
