My Compelling Story

A professional instrumentalist based out of Mumbai, Inferna is a name of a raging one-man band which delivers psychedelic ambience for all the hard core metal and trance music lovers. It believes in the philosophy of- No Covers, Only Originals, and consequently keeps dishing out some fantastic compositions. The man behind Inferna is Joel Joe, who does all the guitars, bass and programming for these compositions and performances. Joel had started playing guitar when he was just 11 and came up with this project at the tender age of 16. His core compositions are Ambient in genre, but he has also created tracks on other genres like metal, indian classical, djent, progressive rock, psy trance, electronica, goregrind and modern metal. Formed in 2012, Inferna has released five tracks since its origin, all of which were well appreciated by the entire independent music circuit. The tracks are named Enacke Division, Altered State of Mind, A Deep Subconscious Mind, A Blue Leaf Season and Existence. This one-man band takes inspirations from Buckethead, Tool and God is an Astronaut.
