Indiva is an all-female folk-fusion LIVE Band from India, it is a culmination of women from different walks of life. The Indiva girls perform in English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Konkani, Kannada, Bengali, Swahili, etc. The band deals in peppy songs and their songs speak about love, happiness, freedom, peace and everything. Their music journeys with the sound that blends Indian elements of classical, jazz, and world music. With influenced melodic lines and Indian rhythmic patterns, the music deals with the nature's elements of wind, earth, water and fire. Together, these divas mix their skill, style and grace to make a fresh sound of music. The band consists of: Merlin D’souza – India’s leading music director/pianist/composer who has given her musical wizardry to Bollywood, films, albums, theatre, advertising, corporate, and concerts worldwide. She helms the band and produces the music of Indiva Vivienne Pocha – A great Western vocalist is a recipient of the JD Rolling Stones Award for the best female vocalist, a stalwart in advertising, concerts, film and theatre Hamsika Iyer – She is the 'Chammak Challo' girl who sang this famous song in Ra One and also '1234 Get on the Dance Floor' in Chennai Express. Besides this, she has lent her vocals to the world famous electronica band 'Juno Reactor', She has received three state awards for the Best Female Playback Singer and also bagged the Best Female Singer award at the Mirchi Awards Shruti Bhave – An all-round artist, she plays the violin in Western and Carnatic styles for Bollywood films.
