Biography

Started as an addicted hardcore, hard trance, and hardstyle listener, Samujjal Choudhury aka DJ Illusive was quite in love with the underground tunes from an early age. While as a web designing student in Mumbai, he used every possible knowledge to delve down more on the uncommercialized EDM scene; even hacked out the music from PC games to use it while spinning. Based out of Guwahati, Assam, he grew up with his family's collection of classics, with the age of cassettes. The musical ear that he inherited from his parents' collection made him more acquainted with music. He spins everything from commercial club tunes to desi Bollywood beats and most of the EDM genres. He dug down into the genres and sub-genres of psytrance, house, trance, dubstep, moombahton, glitch hop, metalstep, world music, ethnostep, and UK hardcore, to create his own style of primitive music that can make his audiences go crazy.
