Biography

Hrishyami Dance Company is a professional dance troupe based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. Deepak MP is the art director, choreographer, and CEO of the dance company; he has secured a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma in Animation and has seven years of experience as a graphic and web designer. Dance has always been his childhood passion and he has been dancing for almost 25 years now. Dancing has helped him to reach new milestones and touch new heights, ever improving, constantly honing his skills by competing and working with some of the most talented and biggest names in the dance industry. Established in 2013 by the blessings of the Karnataka Ratna Sree Sree Sree Shivakumar Swami, Hrishyami Dance Company is an ancient Sanskrit word which means rejoicing, enjoying, or taking pleasure. The trishul in the logo depicts Lord Shiva/ Natraja who is believed to have introduced dance and music to India, according to ancient Indian mythology. The dance academy imbibes this ideology. The troupe at Hrishyami Dance Company specialises in hip hop, classical, contemporary, and Bollywood dance forms. Since the foundation, the troupe has choreographed and performed in various reality shows, dance festivals, corporate shows, and Kannada short films. The team includes dancers who are specialised in each of the above-mentioned dance forms. They have spent decades honing their skills and crafting their careers out of it. Besides dancers, the academy also has well-trained martial artists, specialising in Japanese and Korean art forms, providing martial arts and yoga training to help dancers sharpen their skills.
