Biography
Himmanshoo Ashok Malhotra is a television actor who is currently based in Mumbai. He was born and brought up in Delhi only. After graduating from Delhi University, he aimed at becoming an actor. His first television serial was in the year 2008, 'Champs', on UTV Bindaas and the role played by him was 'Raj'. Then in 2009, he did another daily soap named 'Shubh Kadam', playing the role of 'Swayam'. During that year only, he had been doing another serial on Zee TV, 'Aapki Antara'. Himmanshoo belongs to a Punjabi family and wanted to become an actor since his childhood. After completing his higher studies, he gave auditions for the talent finding reality show, ‘Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj’ in the year 2004 and got selected in it. He made his Debut in Bollywood through the movie, 'Khujli', directed by Raj Sippy. He has also made appearances in the famous serials like 'Kitni Mohabbat Hai', 'Pavitra Rishta', and 'Love Ya Arranged Marriage'. Himmanshoo's career saw a turning point when he took part in 'Nach Baliye 7' with his wife. Their sheer dedication, hard work and love of audiences, made them won the title. Now, Himmanshoo has recently joined a new daily soap on channel Life OK, named 'Ek Nayi Umeed'.
