Harshit Arora is a professional singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. The singer-songwriter was the lead singer and guitar player for a band called Aarsh, which was majorly a cover band playing famous Bollywood numbers. After the split of Aarsh, Harshit continued to play at clubs and cafes honing his skills and gaining followers both as a solo artist and an entertainer.
LIVE music altogether influenced him as an acoustic guitar player and a singer-songwriter. In this solo profession, Harshit has been writing songs, composing his melodies and performing at club venues along with other successful musicians and even uploading videos on YouTube.
Some of his influences are Sonu Nigam, AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Pritam, KK, Ali Zafar, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sunidhi Chauhan.
Harshit, as a solo artist, has been known for his versatility that ranges from unconventional and Bollywood music to popular and Hindustani classical music, on the acoustic guitars – and what comes as a delight is a subtle witticism and engagement with the audiences, which goes around discussing from anything to everything.
Earlier, he has performed at various college festivals and cafes and clubs in Hauz Khas and Connaught Place and private and corporate functions in New Delhi.
