Hard Kaur is a professional rapper based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Her rise to the top of the celebrity tree in Bollywood has been one of the biggest success stories for any solo British Asian entertainer in the past ten years. Right from Birmingham to Mumbai, she launched a colossal scale hip hop attack on Asia. The media hailed her as the saviour of the music scene, thanks to her new sound and music concept. From causing a furore in the finals in Jhalak Dikhlaja, a dance reality show, to anchoring the hit ‘IPL Rockstar’ series nationally, Hard Kaur has become a national onscreen star. Her success story in India began as she co-wrote a hit single for ‘Johnny Gadar’, the Indian gangster underworld flick, alongside the Indian equivalent of triple Grammy award winners, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.
