Biography

Gubbi is a professional rapper based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. Like most rappers, he was inspired by Eminem. Until 2012, he was a duo act called Neo Fatal. Neo Fatal performed at a lot of fund-raising shows with the NGO, Lakshy. They shared the stage with famous Indian bands like Thermal and a Quarter and performed at events for Twitter too! Gubbi experimented with his Kannada rapping skills with his song, Mungaru (Monsoon), which was downloaded over 2500 times and was covered by some young and aspiring rappers. Once Gubbi discovered that Kannada rap is what he is all about, there was no looking back. Ever since he has been entertaining the crowd with his Kannada-English raps, he connects to crowds of all age-groups and encourages people to learn the language. He also raps in German and has performed thrice in Germany as well.
