Genesis The Beginning is a Hindi rock band formed in December 2015 based in Amity University, Noida. The band was formed by Shivam Kr Sinha (vocalist). In January 2016, the band got its drummer, Jeya Kishore, and female vocalist, Drema. The band saw on and off on its guitarists. The band got its lead guitarist, Nikhil Sharma, in March 2016. Anuj Harisinghani, Parth Sagar, and Aavrit Bagga joined as rhythm guitarist, bass guitarist, and keyboardist respectively. The name of the band Genesis, the beginning, speaks of its coming into being. All the members are self-taught.
