Hailing from Mumbai, Gaurav Gambhir, aka D-Cypher, started beatboxing in 2012, after watching a beatboxer LIVE at a b-boying event and has never stopped since then. This 24-year old is rapidly becoming a known name in the beatboxing scene of India. This guy loves listening to old school hip-hop and draws inspiration from there. He can also spit some mean electronic and Indian beats for the crowd. A beatboxer who doesn’t want to be restricted by a specific genre, D-Cypher has been known in the underground scene for evolving continuously. He has also performed at some of Mumbai and Delhi’s best colleges like NM College, VJTI College, SIES College, Sophia College, Mithibai College, and Hindu College.
