Nishant Gadhok is a professional DJ based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Known by the stage name DJ GAD, his venture is a multidisciplinary EDM one. GAD is an acronym for his projects that goes in three different horizons of electronic music— Grab and Drop – Dubstep/DnB Gin at Dawn – Deep House/Techno Gently Altered Dementia – Psychedelic Trance Nishant’s obsession with music started early in life in Meerut but it finally materialized when he came to Mumbai in 2008.  In the initial years of his career, his sets were known for their signature dark sounds and brooding bass lines. It was majorly house and techno infused with psychedelic melodies. The focus is on the energy of the listener and to connect with them on the right musical wavelength. His set can be defined as a custom made experience based on the vibe of the crowd and place.  He has been in the lineup with some of the most ground-breaking artists in the house and techno space such as Betoko, Jeremy Olander, Pleasurekraft, Robosonic, H.O.S.H, Uner, Guy J, Anna, Croatia Squad, Wooden Wisdom, Nora En Pure, Sharam Jey, Third Son, and Magdalena.
