My Compelling Story

Gaby hails all the way from Colombia, South America. She has been performing since the age of 17. She began doing folklore from Columbia such as Cumbia Currulao, Mapale and other dance forms. She then joined Samara & Yulitza belly dance forms and subsequently started taking workshops as a teacher in Egypt, Brazil and Argentina. She then joined Tribal Fusion Bellydance with a teacher from Costa Rica called Caro Dumnani where she also picked up hip hop, Balkan and slow dancing. She later joined a Bollywood group called Abhinaya and has performed at The Indian Embassy. She wanted to explore other dance forms so she travelled to India to learn and perform. She has actively performed in Costa Rica, Egypt, India, Brazil and Argentina.
