Gaan Abohomaan gears up every season for a new concert. 2016 will see the fourth chapter of Kolkata's favorite concert. As always, their effort is to promote young and passionate musicians. Some of them are musicians whom Kolkata has never seen before. Prashmita Paul is the lead vocalist of her band, 'Udaan'. Her first playback was the song 'Sajna' under the music direction of Arindomfrom Raj Chakraborty's 'Bojhena Shey Bojhena' which bagged the award of Best Upcoming Female Vocalist in Radio Mirchi Music Awards, 2014. She is one of the pioneers behind the extremely successful series of Gaan Abohomaan Concerts. She was also part of the Niharika music album by Nihar Naturals in collaboration with Chandrabindoo. She has sung title tracks for mega serials 'Bodhu Boron' on Star Jalsha and 'Rai Kishori' on Zee Bangla. Many more of her playback songs are lined up for release this year. Gaan Abohomaan has performed at various college festivals including one of the top most engineering colleges of Kolkata, Jadavpur University.
