My Compelling Story

Folk Mantra is a LIVE band based out of Kolkata, West Bengal. They play experimental, folk, and fusion music. Formed in 2015, the band has also performed at various events and gigs, and has been very consistent and fruitful in delivering some of the most mesmerising LIVE shows to the music circuit. The band has released a single since its formation, namely, Pare Ke Jabi, which was very much appreciated by the entire Bengal music circuit. They draw their influences from artists like Fiddler's Green, Fakira, Papon and The East India Company, Indian Ocean, The Raghu Dixit Project, Lalon Band (Bangladesh), Baba Maal, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and many more.
