My Compelling Story

Foster Black is a LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. It is a highly energetic three-piece acoustic outfit. The band members have been together since October 2013. With their unique blends of styles ranging from rock and Indie-pop, their sound is recognisable with intensely catchy melodic grooves, beautiful solos, groovy riffs, smooth vocals, driving bass and soothing piano. Band Members: Prateek Nandan – Lead Vocals He is a corporate turned musician. A flamboyant vocalist and guitarist of the band, he never fails to get the crowd going with his wit and presence of mind. So, in short, with the enormous range of his voice and command on the stage, the crowd is guaranteed entertainment. Abhishek Walimbe – Lead Vocals, Guitars He is the one who got the band together. He is basically an electronics engineer who has turned into a professional musician and audio engineer and has also done a lot of research in music. He is primarily a guitarist and has been playing for the past nine years. Having the versatility to play a wide range of genres, he can master anything and blend it perfectly with his smooth and unique voice. Allister Martins – Bass, Piano, Vocals He is the youngest member of the band. The 18-year old upcoming audio engineer has been playing the bass for last five years without any professional training. Yet, he manages to pick up anything given to him with ease. He also provides vocals with his unique style of singing in the higher octave.
