Filter Coffee is the brainchild of flautist Shriram Sampath and percussionist Swarupa Ananth, who both are also music producers. They naturally combine virtuosic improvisation with electronic soundscapes and hypnotic grooves. Filter Coffee is an amalgamation of ethnotronic, i.e. ethnic plus electronic, which offers a new and different look at classical/folk music through the modern electronic perspective. The duo also successfully released their debut album, 'Raagatronic', which ranked number one on the music charts of iTunes India.
