Biography

Elysium Band from New Delhi is a duo that consists of Kanwar Deep Singh and Jasbir Kaur. They are mostly known for their acoustic performances as a team, however, Kanwar a multi instrumentalist also performs as solo singer with his guitar. He delivers his guitar compositions with smoothness and sophistication as Kanwar himself is the owner of a guitar manufacturing company called GTB Musicals. Hence, when it comes to tuning guitars and making mesmerizing sounds, he is undoubtedly quite the best. Kanwar learnt drums from Delhi School of Music, guitars from Yamaha School of Music, Singapore and YMCA. He got his Harmonium lessons from renowned Ustad Zohar Ali Khan. His passion to learn new musical instruments turned him into a self-taught dhol player. Jasbir, on the other hand, is a trained vocalist and has earned herself quite a good reputation for her soulful soothing vocals. Together they have performed at various corporate gigs, private events, cafes, resturants, colleges and at music festivals, food festivals across India.
