My Compelling Story

Ekalavya the Band is a LIVE act based out of Kolkata, West Bengal. They play experimental fusion rock music. They incorporate the elements of Indian raga with mainstream rock music to give new dimensions to the Indian rock music. Their style of music includes Bollywood, eastern folk, blues, and rap metal. The band was formed in 2013 by Rohit Ganesh and Suresh Das (Rocky). The lineup was completed after recruiting the other members and since then, been playing at different college festivals and private events. The band's first stage show in Umang 2013 fetched them the title of champion in the band competition. The band has competed at several college competitions, winning most of them. They have also played for several NGOs and private shows.
