Eileen Gu is an 18-year-old American-Chinese athlete and model. She created history at the 2022 Beijing Olympics after she bagged three medals, two gold and one silver, becoming the first freestyle skier to win three medals at a single Games.Eileen was born in San Francisco, California to an American father and Chinese mother. Her mother Yan Gu, is a Chinese immigrant, who is the daughter of a former Chinese government official. She is a former Peking University speed skater and ski instructor and has worked for investment banks in the United States and as a venture capitalist between California and China.
