Biography

Dwi is a trio of musicians that attained 'Band-hood' in Y2010 and has been regaling audiences in Bangalore and beyond ever since! The Hindustani popular band is known for its live gigs that are high on energy and rich in melody delivered largely by forceful vocals rooted in the semi-classical styles and a wonderfully minimal acoustic set of just a guitar and a few percussion. Dwi has already performed in over 100 shows in Bangalore and beyond and has earned features in TV and radio channels apart from print and online media. The band has been selected as the first ensemble from Bangalore to represent India in New Zealand as part of the Festival of India Independence day concerts (in Wellington and Auckland) under the aegis of the Central Ministry of Culture.
