Double R is a LIVE band based out of Panaji, Goa. Over the years, after individually entertaining crowds in different bands, Retro Reaction, came together for the love of making good and different music. Their unique style of music guarantees to bring the roof down on any occasion they performed at. Good LIVE music is what this fantastic five firmly believes in. The band plays all genres of music – right from the 60s to modern day pop, classic modern rock, country, disco, swing, jive, reggae, rap, bossa, techno, bebop, to some traditional ballroom dancing which will blow your mind away. Besides English, the band also performs latest tracks, from Bollywood, Hindi pop to the traditional Konkani music of Goa – such as the dekni, dulpots, and mandos. Double R takes it a notch higher by performing songs in Portuguese, Spanish, and Swahili. The musicians, on an individual level, have always mesmerised their audiences with their unique rendition of various styles of music, stage presence, and electrifying performances, which always appealed the public, and this has made wonders with them all together as a band. Double R always assures their audiences an impressive evening with great LIVE music for their dancing and listening pleasure. The musicians have successfully provided entertainment for weddings, beat shows, parties, corporate events in and around the state and country. In 2015, music is what took them on an incredible journey to Oman and East Africa. The camaraderie between the members of the band goes way beyond music, and this rapport has reflected in their music. They are brothers first and then, musicians.
